Arjun Kapoor will be seen in Raj Kumar Gupta's India's Most Wanted. The movie hits the theaters tomorrow. The movie is a story about five Intelligence Bureau officers who are in a covert mission to search a deadly terrorist. In an interview with Indian Express, Raj Kumar Gupta was inquired about CBFC's demand to cut a few scenes from the movie.
The CBFC asked Raj Kumar Gupta to eliminate the recommendations to Gita and Quran in the film which the manufacturers did. When the Raid supervisor was inquired about it, he said that such edits remove from the storytelling process. He added, "There was a scene which was written for a particular context in the movie and there is some influence derived from that or there is particular truth depicted in it."
Gupta claimed that CBFC told them that such scenes could injure religious beliefs and the makers didn't want to do that. So when they were informed to edit out these scenes, they voluntarily did it and resubmitted the film.
Just recently, the screening of India's Most Wanted was kept in Mumbai which was gone to by several Bollywood celebrities. After seeing the movie, celebs like Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Taapsee Pannu, Manoj Bajpayee and others appreciated the film as well as Arjun Kapoor's performance in it.
