Sonu Nigam, whose overhauled variation of Mohammed Rafi's Badan Pe Sitare released on the legendary singer's fatality anniversary the other day, claims if it was except Anil Kapoor as well as his movie Fanney Khan, he would certainly not have actually tampered with a song by his "master".
The tune is a part of the movie, which is an ode to individuals with music aspirations. Nigam wrote in an e-mail interview, "Primarily, I was avoiding doing it since I do not like to tamper with initial tracks any longer. I've done enough versions in my past. As well as it's Rafi sahab's tune. Who intends to mess with it? He is my master, he is my music papa. But Anil Kapoor ji urged; he requested me to do it. He claimed he was playing a fan of Rafi sahab in the film, and that's why he desired me to provide him my voice."
Nigam liked that Kapoor was playing a "Rafi sahab bhakt" in the movie, guided by Atul Manjrekar. "I enjoyed the fact that I'm lending my voice to a character that is a bhakt of Rafi sahab."
The other reason that he was convinced was that he a fan of Kapoor too. "I have actually been a follower throughout my youth. Itna bada aadmi mujhe kuch kahe aur major unko mana kardu, it does not look great. He resembles an instructor. We have actually found out so much from him as well as his life, the method he lugs himself and also his dedication to his craft." Nigam, who has given Bollywood several of its most remarkable songs, says that if he did not have "substantial reason", he would not have rehashed it.
