Lata Mangeshkar: “In Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s Going, India Has Been Orphaned”
Ruined by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's fatality, Asia's nightingale Lata Mangeshkar who shared an extremely close bonding with him, claimed: "He resembled my daddy. He called me Beti. I called him Dadda. I feel I've shed my papa all over once again."

" When I saw the glow on his face, his persuasive oratorical powers and his love for the arts, I was constantly advised of my papa (the fabulous musician-stage actor Pandit Dinanath Mangeshkar). When I was a child numerous national leaders and also politicians would certainly see my residence. Vir Savarkar was among them. Atalji advised me of Vir Savarkar. He was an honorable spirit. No words of appreciation can do justice to him. Atalji was never except words. Yet I am."

Lataji obtains ruminating regarding her association with Atalaji. "He was very near to me, and I to him. When we Mangeshkars inaugurated a medical facility in Pune in my name, I asked Atalji to do the inauguration. He happily agreed as well as gave a stimulating speech as usual where he said he remained in a dilemma as he assumed calling a medical facility after me was wrong. There must be a songs academy called after Lata Mangeshkar, not a health center. Now what do I state? That individuals should fall sick to ensure that this hospital named after my Beti would run?' His speeches were artworks. There is not one orator in Indian national politics, or for that matter in India, to match Atalji."

In 2014 Lataji had the unusual advantage of doing a whole cd of song dedicated to Atalji's poems.
