Super star Rajinikanth, who was last seen in 2.0, has actually remained in a legal soup for a while. Yet, the Madras High Court suppressed criminal disparagement procedures against Rajinikanth by a film sponsor at Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town here. The court had earlier dismissed a civil fit versus Rajinikanth with Rs 25,000 cost specifying that it was nothing but a way to acquire low-cost attention as well as misuse a famous person's image.
Financier Mukuchand Bothra had filed the suit versus Kasturi Raja, Dhanush K Raja's dad and Rajinikanth's daughter's father-in-law. Rajinikanth filed a match to subdue the criminal proceedings versus him.
When the plea showed up, Justice Anand Venkatesh stated, "This court is of the thought about view that the averment made in the testimony by the petitioner is not in itself derogatory, and the same was made as a needed averment in order to project the conduct and also personality of the respondent."
