The movie is expected to deal with Monday blues as well as rake in around Rs 2 crore, bringing its overall collection to around Rs 13 crore approx on Monday.
The movie has been panned by doubters, who have called it functional deification of the Prime Minister.
The biopic has been at the heart of a debate ever since it was announced, as it was called a brazen publicity film. PM Narendra Modi biopic was at first scheduled to release on April 12 and was stalled by the Political election Commission of India as Resistance Events stated that the film might sway voters at the Lok Sabha Elections 2019.
It was later on released on May 24 a day after the Bharatiya Janata Event had a landslide success at the elections.
PM Narendra Modi biopic tells the tale of the Head of state from the days of his poverty to coming to be the Prime Minister of India in 2014. Directed by Omung Kumar, the cast also consists of Rajendra Gupta as Modi's daddy, Manoj Joshi as Bharatiya Janata Party head of state Amit Shah.

A lot so, that Anupam Kher as Singh in The Accidental Prime Priest from earlier this year really feels worthy of an Oscar."
